Review summary

We had a wonderful time on this trip despite a couple of minor issues. The ship has great programs for kids under the age of 11, but my teen was a bit bored. The ships slide was not operational for the entire trip which was a big disappointment to the kids. The beds were comfortable and the service outstanding. The carpets in the rooms needed cleaning. Entertainment is an area that Carnival needs work. Overall a great value.

they were shammpooing carpets in the hallways on our trip but the rooms really needed it.

Pay for hotel usage at this port. The shopping, beach tour was great. There are a lot of peddlers on the beaches here. You want to lounge in a roped off area to avoid them.

2 for 1 mojitos and great cuban food at La Bodega del Medio on the Malecon. Good shopping on the Malecon as well. Watch out for time share sales people in all of the shops.

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

Love Cabo! The area has a lot of construction going on, but everything there is lovely. Take a short boat ride around the arches and to lovers beach. The Marina is great for a good meal at the mall.

Pros: Food and Cabins were good and the service on the ship was great.

Cons: The water slide was not operational.
