We needed more time in Pisa and less time in Florence. There was way too much walking on the tour in Florence and not enough time to explore on your own.

We did the Florance and Pisa tour on our own. Given that we had never been to either, with the information the guide gave, it was not difficult to navigate and so we had a great time.

We rented a car and toured the countryside - did not get to Pisa as we didn't feel compelled to see The Tower.

Pisa is a great half-day excursion. Get tickets for the tower on the internet before leaving home or get there early.

Go down the little streets to find romantic dining spots. Florence is incredible. I wish we had gone to the wine country.

This was our most expensive excursion purchased through the cruise. Terrible food, bad guide, and poor planning.

Pisa and Florence are two of the most beautiful places we stopped and I would have loved to have had more time to spend in each of these places. If I make it back to Italy, I would definitely make these a priority!! The Field of Miracles in Pisa is spectacular!!!
