We booked a private tour with KnowJamaica. It was absolutely wonderful. The tour guide/driver took wonderful care of us. We went to the Blue Hole. What a drive there!!! You do not want to do this drive on your own. Roads in poor condition, people selling brownies and other stuff along side of the road and wild drivers. Glenroy, our driver, handled in all with incredible skill. Blue Hole was well worth seeing. We were trying to avoid the crowds at Dunns River Fall since there were 5 ships at the island that day. Blue Hole was busy but not too bad. The guides there made sure we did it all safely and took lots of pictures of us for us. Beautiful place. We then went to Konoko botanical gardens. No crowds at all and another beautiful place. Glenroy took us to a good place to do some shopping and since we were getting close to the time to board the ship he took us back to port. We probably did have enough time to stop and get some food but we felt better going back. Our entire group loved this stop. The people were so nice and helpful. We experienced none of the negative things I read about this port but I think that was mainly because Glenroy took good care of us.

Not my favorite port. I’m not a fan of the locals there. They are quite pushy and you just have to walk away. We did the river tubing excursion which was fun but we drove through some very poor areas to get there which was sad knowing that some folks live in those conditions.

Hired a driver to take me on a tour, he was great, but because of weather the boat docked away from town, so I just enjoyed a ride through the countryside. The rain forest, Fern gully etc

Excursion of ATV trip was so much fun. I heard Dun Falls is also a must see. Good island for excursions. When shopping the 151 rum punch they give you is good and hang onto your wallet as they load you up with stuff to buy. Check your liquor rules as to how much you can bring back off the ship. Don't expect the sales person to know or want to tell you.

Took a river raft excursion on the white river. Awesome relaxing ride along with great logistics getting to and from the venue. We will do this again on a visit to Ocho Rios.

Beautiful view from the ship. We never get off due to the stories we have heard about being hassled by locals. Some of our group did the horseback riding and absolutely loved it.
