The highlight of this cruise was attending the marriage vow renewal event and participating in a Guinness world record event. Gavin McLeon at 89 years old the original TV "Love Boat" captain did great!

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The food was good but not exceptional. Service was very good. Buffet was much better than our previous Princess cruise, especially breakfast. Items we had to ask for in the past were available everyday. Only down tick was no fried donuts or fresh berries. We really appreciated the Indian dishes at lunch and the fact that they were spiced well just like Indian food should be. No ice cream sundaes available for purchase on this ship either so soft serve was what we settled for.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
The highlight was the attempt to set a Guinness record for highest number of renewal of vows. Quite exciting but a bit warm standing in the sun in our finery. The original captain from Love boat officiated on our ship which was awesome. This was a Princess cruise so other activities are toned way down for the older crowd I guess. We used the gym daily and the lotus room which is the only way to get a sauna on the Regal Princess. There are no activities like a climbing wall etc.
Lotus Spa

This area of the ship needs some maintenance. It did not compare to one we enjoyed on a previous Princess ship.
Entertainment
Did not attend any of the shows.
Children's Programs
No children with us.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Compared to our trip to Alaska on Princess about 8 months ago the crew seemed a bit subdued. We almost never saw our room steward and had to request the items we were promised such as robes and welcome aboard champagne. Dining room stewards as well did not seem to get to now us like we had experienced on a previous cruise.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Ship was in great shape except for some excess wear and tear in the Lotus spa where labels had been worn off and some switches did not work. The hot surface lounges also did not get nearly as hot as on our previous cruise, a major down tick in our minds and they didn't seem to want to fix it.
Cabin / Stateroom

The extra room and bathtub were worth the extra charge.
Ship tip
Pick a specific dining time rather than anytime dining. It was not uncommon to wait 45 minutes to an hour for a table.
This is essentially a beach picnic. We snorkeled but there were a lot of people in the water which was cumbersome. The people in the shops seemed disinterested and unmotivated. The food lines set up on site needed to do something to control flies which were quite prominent on the food items.
Took a river raft excursion on the white river. Awesome relaxing ride along with great logistics getting to and from the venue. We will do this again on a visit to Ocho Rios.
Went snorkeling and to the sand bar to see the stingrays. Excellent excursion except for a few people who were too old or too fat to get on and off the boat.
