We absolutely love the Carnival Freedom. It is not the newest or the biggest, but we like the size and layout and never feel crowded.

We ate in the dining room, buffet, steakhouse, seafood shack, Deli, Guys Burgers, Blue Iguana and Pizza Pirate The food at all of them was outstanding. The steakhouse is a must do. The only thing I did not like were the biscuits on the buffet and I love my biscuits and gravy. These were hard as hockey pucks.

All the shows were some of the best we have ever seen and the comedians were hilarious.

Only saw our room steward once but he kept our room spotless. The waiters in all the places we went were excellent and so friendly and helpful.

The Freedom is our favorite ship because of it's size and layout. Very easy to get around and very clean.

Room was the same as always. Size is adequate. It was very clean. I love the beds and the pillows...so comfy.
Ship tip
Use the elevators at the front on embarkation and debarkation day. No waiting.
Beautiful view from the ship. We never get off due to the stories we have heard about being hassled by locals. Some of our group did the horseback riding and absolutely loved it.
We really enjoyed our trip on Freedom. Lido Deck layout was so much more user friendly. Great place to enjoy the sun and music, and room to relax with friends. Layout on Magic had considerably fewer available seats, and smoking was allowed on deck 11 which made several areas uncomfortable for non smokers.
