Love Cozumel, My Husband & I have been there the last 3 yrs.

Bad weather hurt the stop as 75% of excursions were cancelled. We swam with dolphins which was great (highly recommended), but had to settle with a less inclusive excursion vs our initial sign up. Lunch buffet was a let down and all you could drink bar was great, but nowhere to go and nothing to look at so we didn’t stick around long.

Very, very touristy. Very crowded with 8 cruise ships in port at the same time.

Had a great experience snorkeling. But was irritated by the local jewelers and shops when leaving the ship. They were rude trying to get our business.

We went on the Tulum and Mayan village for lunch. The tour guide, Lily, was very friendly and knowledgeable. The lunch was great. To see one of the Seven Wonders of the World was a great experience.

Took teen-age grandchildren on excursion to the Mayan ruin on Cozumel. While it's not one of big sites, it was very interesting. More extensive than I thought and kids liked it. Stopped to see a demonstration of how chocolate is grown and processed. It was also only about half day. Other tours, to sites on the mainland, were all day.
