Our favorite island. We always go on our own. We rent a moped for around $20-$30...right across the street. We ride to the ruins and hang out at any beach resort and buy drinks and/or snacks.

Cozumel is one of my favorite ports! It’s really safe to leave the port area and explore the local town. We also did the Atlantis Submarine excursion and loved it! You dive over 110ft deep to see the reef and the thousands of fish it houses. Don’t forget to stop by ThreeAmigos and grab some guacamole and a delicious beverage 👌🏼

This was our third time to Cozumel. Last time we went was two years ago and they have done some MAJOR upgrades to this port! Tons of shopping stores and the anchor restaurants are Margaritaville, Bubba Gump Shrimp, and Senor Frogs. Our excursion was the Deluxe Beach Break at Playa Mia. This was the third time we had done that. It is a water park on the beach. The kids love the water park that has two slides, a kid zone and then a huge pool just to hang out in. Then on the beach part of it, there is jet skis, paddle boats, inflatable things to climb and jump on, TONS of chairs along the beach, beach volleyball, and several different bars to get a drink from. There is also a huge tent that had a nice buffet. If you plan on doing this excursion, make sure the free buffet and free drinks are included. I noticed several people didn't have the wristbands for the buffet and drinks and they weren't too happy about that. It took about 25-30 minutes to get there from the port on our shuttle.

I love Cozumel. There was a lot of shopping without having to leave the port area. We did a Wine and snorkel catamaran and sail excursion. This was our favorite! We snorkelled in a beautiful area about ten minutes from the port. After snorkelling, the crew raised the sails and we sailed theu the most beautiful waters of the ocean. They served us a most wonderful lunch and served adult beverages to each guest. They were there to wait on the guests. We dropped anchor at an exclusive area and guests were able to jump in, paddle board, float or whatever they desired for about an hour. The crew on this excursion were very good, and were sincerely there to make sure each guest felt comfortable.

Took a cab to Chankanaab (on our own) and swam with Manatees and snorkeled! Beautiful highly recommended day!! Only drawback is that you just have to remember the Manatees without benefit of pictures unless you’re willing to pay $40 each or $300 for the lot of them. This was out of my budget but we knew this ahead of time so it is what it is.

When we were at port so we’re 7 other ships, so it was busy but the port had a lot of shops. We went to Mr. Sancho’s Beach Club and it was a lot of fun. All the food and drink (even alcohol) was included in the price. The activities were fun, most cost just a deposit and you get it back.

Beautiful port! Mr. Sanchos was fabulous! $55 each for all you can eat, dri k, and enjoy. The beach was so great, we never even got in the pools. However they did look amazing!
