Our family had a ton of fun. I would sail the Horizon again for sure.

Embarkation was so quick! We showed up slightly earlier than our assigned FTTF time and basically walked right onboard.

The food choices were extensive even without paying extra. We never had a bad meal and most of the food was very good especially the main dining room. The service in the main dining room was exceptional thanks to our amazing wait staff Sorina from Romania! Guy’s Burgers and Blue Iguana breakfast burrito were also a yummy treat.
Onboard Activities

Activities were fun. The ropes course, mini golf, and pool table helped entertain my family. The sky bike was disappointingly close all cruise.
Entertainment

Enjoyed the shows especially Celestial Strings and never had a problem getting a seat for the early ones in the Liquid Lounge upper level. Mike pack led funny activities. Lip sync battle was my favorite.
Service and Staff

This hard working crew never failed to be friendly and extremely hard working! They kept the ship clean despite the crowds in some areas. Nyomen our cabin steward was excellent. Sorina and our dining room staff were amazing.
Ship Quality

This is a nice big beautiful ship. It was clean and well maintained. There were a Lot of people aboard so there were areas that were very crowded at times which was expected. There were some quiet spots to retreat to though. Our balcony, Serenity, deck 5 Ocean Plaza and the areas outside on deck 5 were nice.
Cabin / Stateroom

Loved watching the ocean from our large window and from our balcony. Comfortable bed.
Ship tip
Take the stairs if you can. It’s great excercise and you need it with all the good food.
No excursion here but stayed overnight at Hyatt House near the airport. Loved the airport shuttle and proximity to the Publix grocery store and a Delicious Cuban food restaurant.
This is a beautiful island with gorgeous water and beaches. The part of our group who had a Tours By Locals guise had a great time. Those that tried to go on their own got so harassed by panhandlers and vendors that they did not enjoy it at all and went back to the ship early.
Took a cab to Chankanaab (on our own) and swam with Manatees and snorkeled! Beautiful highly recommended day!! Only drawback is that you just have to remember the Manatees without benefit of pictures unless you’re willing to pay $40 each or $300 for the lot of them. This was out of my budget but we knew this ahead of time so it is what it is.
