Got there with Norwegian Bliss. Took the 8 hours tour from the ship for Skagway, White Pass and Yukon expedition. We were lucky to have a gorgeous weather day. Denali Allie was our tour guide, she was awesome. Skagway is cute! The Yukon expedition was awesome. Saw sights that are amazing. Carcross is a cute town, BBQ chicken lunch was tasty. Petting farm Adorable, but we didn’t get to go in to see the musher dogs, we had to buy a sled tour for that. Took the narrow gauge train to get back to Skagway. One of the best days we ever had!!!

White Pass Train excursion and got off in downtown Skagway, when the train returned. Needed cash, so we checked out the Wells Fargo Bank in town. It was a bit of a hike, but worth it. They have their original safe in the lobby and the bank is like a time gone past. Checked the shops (fun to look, if you aren't in the mood to buy). Just plain go exploring!

Skagway was great...took the White Pass train for the 2 1/2 hour ride...you need to do this..this narrated excursion will give you some great gold rush history and awesome picture taking from the train ..next time we'll do the 4 1/2 hour trip...great time and well worth the money.

Took motor coach ride up the mountain to Yukon and the White Pass Rail down - in a word, spectacular. Scenic, wildlife... provided lunch - ehh... But overall amazing. We booked all excursions ahead of time through Princess. It was nice to have it all planned out in advanced. They were very organized every step of the way from disembarking to finding our tour. Everything was spelled out in advance (physical capabilities needed etc)

We had a gorgeous sunny day in Skagway. I went on the Glacier Point Wilderness Safari excursion. We went on an hour boat ride out to the point. The naturalists on the boat were super informative and entertaining, so the time passed quickly. At the point, we took a fun school bus ride through the rainforest and then took a 30' canoe out to the glacier. The colors surrounding us just popped (emerald green trees on the shore of the grey/blue glacier lake and the light aqua blue glacier appearing to be frozen in time as it melts down between the mountains). We got to walk through glacier rivers with our rainboots on. To top it off we were given lunch at picnic tables, surrounded by yellow wildflowers.

Skagway tours was amazing. Mike rocked as a tour guide. We saw an amazing view and a cinnamon bear, black bear, 3 mountain goat and a eagle. Our group was a no fuss group, so we had an amazing experience with stops off the Klondike hwy. highly recommend for the Skagway day unless walking a couple of blocks is your thing. I would say the bus was amazing as you could get out and take pictures unlike the train.
