Visited Creek Street and the Totem Pole museum - cool to see and very cheap; easy port near many restaurants; ate at Alaskan Fish house and it was the best fish I have ever had

Hiked about a mile to the salmon fisheries (don't do the excursion, it's free if you just walk); visited totem pole museum (not much to see here, you pay $25 at the door vs $60+ excursion), and did a couple of trails

A nice little town. It usually rains here. It was raining when we were there. Hard to believe that such a small town has its own airport with 737's flying in and out. Walked around town but didn't do any excursions because we had tours booked to see similar things later in our holiday.

We did the Misty Fjord and Mendenhall Glacier tour which was good. But, we had very little time afterwards to tour the town. Our advice to other tourists, skip the tours and hang out in town especially Creek Street.
