Review summary

Wonderful experience when you upgrade with a suite! I walked in the main buffet dinning room on deck 14 and scurried back to my quiet and luxurious Luminea restaurant! Michael's lounge reserved for suite guests is in need of a major overhaul, but we enjoyed drinking for free and talking to our concierge Alexandra who is beyond wonderful in everyway!!! You get to know the staff and most are a real delight like Tyrone in Lumina!! Exursions are fun and I recommend getting off the ship at every port of call. Overall a good experience with Celebrity. If I had even more $ I might cruise Crystal next! Please do not book any accommodations on deck 12 Solstice!!!

Embarkation

Busy, but suite class is better, you get ahead of everyone else and are escorted on board. Nice!!!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

We ate exclusively at Luminea for suite guest only. Delicious everytime! Luxury and friendly service!

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
We saw people in both pools. Looked like they were having s nice time.

Entertainment

We did not go to any events, did view some musicians in lobby.

Children's Programs

No children in party.

Service and Staff

Excellent. Butler did not offer to help with unpacking or steaming clothing.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Staff very proactive in keeping handrails and our hands clean at all times!

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Room size is truly an upgrade from regular rooms. Larger balcony. If you are over 6 feet tall you will have to bend over to take a shower. Room has major flaw in its placement. Above is the main buffet dinning room! Scraping of chairs on floor and outside deck drove us crazy!!! Avoid this suite and deck!!!

Ship tip

Do not book a suite or stateroom on deck 12!!! You will bd very sorry you did! Huge design flaw with all the commotion from people eating almost 24/7!!!
