Embarkation

Very streamlined and well organized.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food was good with plenty of variety. Dinner was the only time of the day that was a "mandatory" get together for our group. Without that we would have seen our kids very little on the ship.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Hot tubs were clean and nice to use even when it was cool outside.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
I can't say enough good things about the quality of the entertainers and the shows in general. The performers were awesome with great charisma and an obvious joy for their profession. Eddie, the cruise director is a fabulous host!! His impromptu wit and charm was great fun to be around. The Gold art duo was just awesome!! The dance shows and singing was fabulous.

Children's Programs

No kids with us

Service and Staff

Sumantra in the Metropolitan dining room was great!! We found out it was his birthday and we all gathered around to sing happy birthday to him complete with birthday cake. Freddie was a great stateroom attendant. Catalina was a wonderful bartender in the Cosmos.

Ship Quality

Very clean and well kept ship! No complaints about the layout.

Cabin / Stateroom

Nice cabin with comfortable bed.

Ship tip

Don't worry so much about bringing so much clothing. Get to know the staff because they are all so very nice and they just make you happy.

Ports of call

Vancouver (Canada Place), British Columbia

Beautiful and clean city. Definitely will go back. Victoria was a great place to see

Ketchikan, Alaska

5 out of 5
Nice place. Typical of the ports we saw. Lots of touristy shops and way too many jewelry stores. We did the Fjords tour and it was great.

Icy Strait Point (Hoonah), Alaska

5 out of 5
Nice port, nothing much too it. We did the whale watching and the Zip line. Both were fun.

Juneau, Alaska

Rainy day. We thought our excursion would be cancelled but we're happy that it wasn't. We did a helicopter tour and landed on the glacier. That was awesome. The Red Dog saloon was just great and is a must see. Lots of shops and more jewelry stores than anyone could ever need.

Skagway, Alaska

5 out of 5
We wish we had more time to walk around this town. Seemed like a nice place. We did the train ride and it was very nice.

Seward (Anchorage), Alaska

5 out of 5
We never really saw any of the port of Seward. We took a glacier prince William sound tour. It was very informative and the glaciers were beautiful but the tour was too long. The bus driver "Bill" was really great and extremely informative.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Smooth as silk!
