Did the Mount Roberts Tram ride and enjoyed some spectacular views as well as a hike to the top. Also did a helicopter tour to the Mendenhall Glacier which was awesome.

No excursion with the ship, went on the gondola ride on our own, beautiful day and such a beautiful view, the town was very quaint.

Juneau is fine. We hiked the East Glacier Loop at Mendenhall, but the glacier has retreated so much we mostly just looked at the lake that is at its base.

My favorite part of my trip was my excursion to the Taku Lodge which included a float plane trip through the glaciers and a delicious salmon feast at the end! Best excursion ever!

I liked this port. However we did the Roberts tramway excursion. It was a beautiful view up but because of the lightning storm the power went out on our way down and that Very scary hanging in midair. But after about 15 minutes a generator started up and returned us to safety. Just a freak thing I guess.

Canoe at Mendenhall Glacier. THIS IS A GROUP CANOE TRIP. If you do not plan on paddling, please choose a different excursion. Though the afore mentioned was a slight downside, the scenery and experience of this excursion was amazing!

We did an excursion to Mendenhall Glacier. It was breath-taking. Our son walked to the far side by the waterfall, and also got some really good pictures. After that we bought tickets to Roberts Tram Way, and went up the Tram. We did see a couple of bald eagles on the way up and back down. I wouldn't waste my money eating at the restaurant up there again.
