After taking this cruise, if ever having enough time to complete my list of places to go, I would definitely go back to Alaska. Best cruise ever!
Embarkation

Very smooth. The attendants were extremely nice and helpful.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The food was delicious with exception of the New York strip steak. Everyone in our party of 23 people that ate it said the same thing. It was extremely thin and over cooked. But service was outstanding and the majority of the food was delicious. Also, for the people that loved lobster, they were more than generous on that night giving them extra lobster tails.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
There is so much to do and not enough time to do it.
Entertainment

Mo5aic was fabulous, but the majority of the shows needed better singers. The dancing was good.
Children's Programs

My three-year-old grandson loved going in the kids playroom. He was constantly asking to go back. He had a great time and they had very good hours.
Service and Staff

All the personnel that I ran into or had to speak with was ready to accommodate you in anyway that they could. This was my first Royal Caribbean cruise and it was much better than the customer service I’ve ever had on any Carnival.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Ships layout was great. And they are very big on cleanliness. They had everybody wash their hands at a washing station before you could enter the Windjammer restaurant. And all over the ship they had antibacterial dispensers everywhere. Loved it!
Cabin / Stateroom

Very satisfied. I thought it was plenty of room for a state room. Had plenty of storage and closet space.
Ship tip
Don’t overpack like I did. Several nights we did not even dress for dinner. We wore what we had on for the day because of being off the ship. So we had way too many dinner outfits. We were never turned away. Also you will need heavy coat when going through Juneau, Skagway and the glaciers. If you forget your coat, they sell them on the ship for about $39 and they are super nice coats. But I also Seen the same coats in Juneau and Skagway for $20. They were thick and warm and reflect the rain. They also sell gloves , hats and scarves on board.
Enjoyed several excursions in Seattle. We spent two days prior to boarding the ship. My favorite Entertainment there was Wings over Washington. It’s a must and it’s not that expensive. You will thoroughly enjoy it and it’s for all ages. Also really enjoyed visiting the space needle and the duck tour. The duck tour was great.
I liked this port. However we did the Roberts tramway excursion. It was a beautiful view up but because of the lightning storm the power went out on our way down and that Very scary hanging in midair. But after about 15 minutes a generator started up and returned us to safety. Just a freak thing I guess.
Didn’t care too much for the port. It was a long walk and to me the area looked very run down. But we did the white train pass and dog sled excursion. It was wonderful. They allowed us to Stand up and take pictures on the train and even step out on the rail between the cars. We were able to get some beautiful pictures.
We didn’t get to go in as far as I had hoped. It was still beautiful and we did see a few seals but no whales which was disappointing. However you will see whales while on this cruise I believe. Because on most days while cruising we did see a lot of whales which was really neat.
I love Victoria. It was beautiful there. I wish I would’ve had more time to spend there. If I ever go back I will look for a longer day at this port. But one tip I can give you is that you will need to get a cab to get to the main area. It’s only $10 for a party of four. There is a big bus at this port called hop on hop off bus that takes you around the city and you can get on and off wherever you choose. It’s not an excursion offered by the ship but it worked for us. We went through shoreexcursions.com. We also used them for our Seattle excursions.
They offer a free port valet service where they will check you in at the airport and take your luggage to the airport for you. It was fabulous! And the best thing was they do not weigh your luggage on the way back. So you could stuff as much in it as you could get and not worry about the weight. That was a very super nice free service they offer in Seattle. However I noticed that the personnel wasn’t quite as nice when leaving the ship as they were when entering it. LOL
