Review summary

The photographers did a good job of capturing lots of memories. I think there should be more options on sizes of photos. Most of the photos you can only purchase as 8x10. We didn't need that many large photos. We did buy a LOT of photos. We left with the 20 by 30 canvas along with many other pictues. I also think if you purchase as many photos as we did, that we should be able to get copies of ALL of our pictures on the flash drive. My husband and I cruised 25 years ago on our honeymoon, this was a 25th anniversary celebration, and we brought our 14 year old son with us.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
We arrived early, and were able to board earlier than expected. The line at the Service desk were short when we boarded.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Shortly after boarding we went to Truffles (dining room) and the hostess Milijana was there. She showed us where our table was and was always smiling, friendly and called us by name all week! Then there was the wait staff, who for us was Natanael, Leyton and Mark. I don't think it is possible to have any better gentlemen to wait on us. They were all absolutely AMAZING! The only complaints we had, #1 - on the Lido deck, during late night the only food options available were pizza and ice cream. I was not a fan of the pizza on board (I know a lot of people loved it, just not me). #2 - We realize during a cruise we as passengers/guests are not required to "clean up" after ourselves, but it would have been nice if we had the option to put dirty dishes into a bin, as when we had an empty beverage glass, there was no place to leave it. #3 - The female bartender (sorry for the description, is the lady with the painted on eyebrows) in the main lobby (Colosses bar) was not very friendly.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
My husband and I did the couples massage package with the hot stone massage and facials. They were wonderful. I don't think there were enough activities on board (games etc...), especially when in port. If you didn't get off the ship, there was nothing to do

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Joe, the emcee, in the comedy was HILLIARIOUS!! Bye Felicia!! Loved when he caught under age people in the adult only comedy shows. The other shows in the Follies lounge were also great!

Children's Programs

3 out of 5
Our son is almost 15 and I don't think that he was very impressed with the Circle "C" club.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
There is nothing bad I can say about any of them. Our room steward Putu was awesome!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Everything was kept clean and maintained! It would have been nice to have a few trash cans through out the ship for us to throw stuff away.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The cabin was a nice size for a family of three.

Ship tip

My favorite pre-sail tip, was to be sure to bring a bungee cord to hold open our cabin/balcony door while we were in the room. The other thing was to be sure to have a power strip for extra plugs. The third thing we brought with us was a multi port usb charger, so we could all charge our phones and camara at the same time. It would have been nice to have at LEAST one power plug in the bathroom, for a hairdryer.

Ports of call

Seattle, Washington Did not visit port

Juneau, Alaska

5 out of 5
We did an excursion to Mendenhall Glacier. It was breath-taking. Our son walked to the far side by the waterfall, and also got some really good pictures. After that we bought tickets to Roberts Tram Way, and went up the Tram. We did see a couple of bald eagles on the way up and back down. I wouldn't waste my money eating at the restaurant up there again.

Skagway, Alaska

4 out of 5
We didn't do an excursion in Skagway, but opted to support the local economy and shopped all day.

Ketchikan, Alaska

4 out of 5
We did the "Duck Tour" ride. Saw a lot of bald eagles. Captain "D" and Peyton did a really good job pointing out local history.

Victoria, British Columbia

2 out of 5
By the time we got to Victoria, all the shopping locations became boring. They all had the same stuff. We were not in Victoria long enough to be able to go anywhere to try to get a feel for the area.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Very relaxed and organized.
