The ship got suprisingly close to the glacer considering its' size. This wasn't a port.

Thought the scenery here was superior to Glacier Bay National Park. Spend the money on the expensive catamaran excursion. The boat takes you close to the glaciers and waterfalls and you go right up to the ice flows. We saw hundreds of seals. One of our all time favorite shore excursions.

All we did was float along the coast so it wasn't even a port. People exited the boat to get on a smaller boat but all they did was cruise along the Fjord and then get back on the boat.

Captain gave it a miss. Very disappointed as that was the very reason I came to Alaska. The cruise was incomplete without Tracy Arm Fjord. I felt short changed. Will think twice of recommending friends. I demand some compensation.

Brent Nixon was superb in narrating the glacier visit.
