Review summary

For the most part the cruise was excellent. The ports were some of the best views that I've seen. We had the best weather that Alaska has ever had at that time of the year. There is smoking in some areas on the ship so that sucks as having asthma isn't conducive to being around smoke. I tried to upload photos but it wouldn't let me.

Embarkation

It was ok. We waited about an hr to board the ship even though we had a set time to board.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The main dining room food was pretty good. I think in our party there may have been at least one dish a night that wasn't up to par whether it was an entree or starter. The Steakhouse wasn't good at all. The service was terrible and the food wasn't good for the most part.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
The music was fantastic, the comedy was good, the DJ by the pools (DJ Silk) was great.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The stage shows were really good.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our waiters and room stewards were great.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
The design of the ship was great. The cleanliness was just okay. Areas need cleaning and some parts of the ship needed repair (ie, tables, chairs, doors).

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The cabin was good. Good size and with the balcony is always good to sit out and relax.

Ship tip

I would recommend it.

Cruise Tracy Arm Fjord, Alaska

3 out of 5
All we did was float along the coast so it wasn't even a port. People exited the boat to get on a smaller boat but all they did was cruise along the Fjord and then get back on the boat.

Victoria, British Columbia

The port itself was good but we didn't get to stay there long. Four hours is not enough time to see a port and enjoy it. Stores didn't even open until 10am which we ported at 830 so we walked around for 1.5hrs until things opened up. We had to be back on the ship by 1230 so we had an hour of having some tea and apps and then rushed back to the ship.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
It was better than getting on the ship.
