Review summary

We paid top $ to see Tracy Arm Fjord and got Endicott Arm instead. No big deal! The glacier was too far away. Grand Princess should compensate for the missed item as advertised. There was no apologies and conveniently grossed over the omission. Very disappointing.

Ship tip

To ensure all itineraries must be met before booking. I did not get to see Tracy Arm Fjord for no valid reason.

Cruise Tracy Arm Fjord, Alaska

Captain gave it a miss. Very disappointed as that was the very reason I came to Alaska. The cruise was incomplete without Tracy Arm Fjord. I felt short changed. Will think twice of recommending friends. I demand some compensation.

I have been down Tracy arm four times...it was beautiful but Alaska is beautiful...the Hubbard glacier is magnificent and can be appreciated even from a distance

At Tracy Arm the ship often ( usually) turns around just when you can see the top of Sawyer glacier. We were delighted to go into Endicott and see all of Dawes glacier.

I think that your vacation might not be pleasant if you spent extra hours in the Tracy Arm due to the ship sinking when it hit ice

Read your contract the captain can skip a port and you are not allowed ant compensation.

It's in the cruise contract that sometimes you miss ports. I'm sure the captain had a good reason.
