Who? What? When? Where? Why?

This is my first cruise and I am going with my husband.

We are traveling on the Carnival Ecstasy

We are leaving on May 18th

We are going to Nassau, Bahamas

I haven't decided yet if we are going to cruise again.. check back with me in 3 weeks :-)

Hubby and my parents - 1984? Carnival to Bahamas? Lived in Coral Cables, Fl and it was really cheap ...Didn't like it at all ... Tried again in 1986 in Galveston, Tx because we moved to Houston ... still didn't like it ... Moved to St. Croix USVI in 1989 and didn't even think about cruising because I lived right on the ocean.

Fast forward to December 2015 - 7 day Cruise to Mexico with my son and a friend ....LOVED IT. Hooked for life ... 2016 was the Year of the Cruise and went as often as I could ...most therapeutic thing I've ever done! Only done 3 so far in 2017 but ready for more!

When - September 1, 1996

Where - Scheduled for Eastern Caribbean, changed to Western (Jamaica, Grand Cayman, Cozumel) due to hurricane

Why - it took about 18 years before I cruised again due to what I thought the price was. Since then, I cruise at least once a year to totally relax from work and life in general.

Where did you go? 4 day from Miami to Key West and Cozumel

Why did you decide to keep cruising? Getting away from Technology, seeing new places, relaxing, no additional driving from when I got to the port

To What Extent? To boldly cruise all the time, or at least wish I were on a cruise

2007. I started earning good money. Didn't know what vacation I wanted. My supervisor at the time suggested cruising. I looked into and said what the heck, why not? Carnival Glory to the Bahamas. Interior lower deck. Met a nice woman on the ship too. Had a nice time. She had a balcony and after seeing it. I decided no more interior cabins.

My first cruise was

5) It was a wonderful relaxing adventure and we both enjoyed the experience. Unpack once and see a lot.

My very first cruise was with my kids and their dad.

Early '80s

We cruised to Nassau and a private island - just a 3day cruise plus 4 days on land at Kennedy Space Centre and Disney World.

I wanted to keep cruising hit the rest of the family preferred all inclusive resorts on land

Fast forward almost 20 yrs and I finally convinced hubby #2 to cruise and now he's addicted. Yay!
