I'm still on the books for an Eastern Caribbean out of Port Canaveral on Harmony the first week of December. I haven't bought my plane tickets yet. I can't imagine it will sail. And if it does, I'm not sure I want to be on the first sailing.

Thanks for pointing these articles out for us. It is frustrating, yet nice to be kept in the loop of possible adventures.

Exercise caution when making that call to your cruise line. This may indeed be the final version, but there have been several changes along the way. NCL's for example, has changed a few times since "the beginning"...
Thanks Sarah. This kind of info is always good.
Hey all - this is a different article but I've been keeping this one updated as well. These are the lines that have suspended sailings (practically all of them at this point) and when they will start operating again. I did do a separate post on this but I'll drop in here in case any of you didn't see that one!

We also cruise June 19th out of Seattle for Alaska with 11 cabins of seniors some over 70. Having a hard time talking to Celebrity. Final payment is Friday 20th. Hoping all of this passes by June 19th
I really doubt that this cruise will happen as Canada has closed all ports till July. In order for this to proceed at the least there will have to be an itinerary change which it will be near impossible to add another foreign port which they have to have if leaving from a US port.
You really need to confirm with the cruise line. Most lines currently have a cancellation policy in place allowing you to cancel up to 48 hours prior to sailing. In this case, if it were me I would request the return of the deposit and not follow through with the final payment.

Hi @Juma! I hope it passes, too! I've found this info on the Celebrity site.https://www.celebritycruises.com/travel-alert/voluntary-suspension-of-cruising.
I've heard it is challenging to contact some cruise lines. Here is the e-mail CelebrityEngagementCenter@celebrity.com
In addition, here is the contact info for Celebrity

We have a carnival cruise booked forJune 13th. At this time we need to cancel because I’m not sure if I will be teaching into the summer now. I know they have extended their future cruise credit if you cancel. My question is, does that include the $500 deposit? We have not paid for the cruise in full but the final payment is due in 2 weeks. Thanks for any help. I have tried calling but had to hang up after being on the line for an hour.
