The cruise was wonderful. We were blessed with perfect weather. I would encourage all guests to double-check their stateroom charges before disembarkation. Many of us had incorrect charges, such as mini-bar items that we did not use. Holland America did take care of the errors before disembarkation, but there was quite a line.

We love the dining room! The menu is fantastic and the service is unbeatable. We had 1 dinner at the Pinnacle Grill, would highly recommend that too.

Cabin was clean, comfortable and the beds were already separated upon arrival.
Ship tip
It is a vista class, due to the amount of glass used. It brightens up the amount of daylight that you can see on board. The staff goes above and beyond.
We went snorkeling with a beach transfer. They took us to Palm Beach. It was okay. The beach they should transfer tourists to would be Eagle Beach. Snorkeling was okay, but not great.
Went on a mini 4x4 Jeep tour. They need to book this with a different company. The goggles were not keeping dust/dirt out, which made it hard to see and hurt our eyes (we both have contacts and could not wear them for days). The beach was not pristine as they had described. It was high traffic and not quiet and not part of the mini Jeep tour. Would have preferred to book a different excursion on this day.
The port was clean. The city is run down and somewhat unnerving as a tourist. This port is next to neighboring Venezuela in extreme poverty. I would choose a different country as a whole for a stop in the Caribbean.
This city is in extreme poverty. We saw buildings demolished and small children picking through the rubble. The cruise port did not feel safe after sun down.
