We had a lot of fun talking with crew during there free time at Lido and around the pool. Do your homework- look at the deck plans and check what above and under your cabin, where elevators and crew doors.

I agree with wilkinsjk. Of course ships need to be maintained - all the time. It's for your safety too. I have not seen any staff eating yet, but I surely hope they are allowed to use the dining areas, because I have never before seen such a hardworking staff before and I would really like them also to be able to get 15 minutes of peace to eat a meal without health risk and other pressures in them.

Before u booked your cruise u should of looked at what deck the Lido was and planned accordingly. Under the lido is never the deck you want to be on. Also crew members have to repair things when need be the turn over rate they have on these ships give them no time to repair things when no one is on board so they have to when need be. Also when crew members have there off time they are able to roam the boat and live like the guest until it's there time to work again
