Review summary

My husband and I traveled with two other couples and stayed in the Neptune suites close to one another and used the Neptune lounge several times a day. I highly recommend Holland America the ship is large but you never feel it there is space for everyone on board and you never feel crowded. The food was absolutely delicious with beautiful presentation every day ..The staff was considerate, kind, and professional. I'm already planning my next cruise 😍

Ship Quality

There was always someone walking around picking up after other people. So the ship was clean at all times .

Cabin / Stateroom

This is the second time we stayed in a Neptune suite and if you can it is well worth the money! The cabin is large, has many closets, a sitting area and a beautiful deck!

Ship tip

As soon as you board the ship explore every floor and what they have to offer ... Take a nice long walk around the ship on the third floor !

Ports of call

Loved Venice

Sarande, Albania

This is a brand new port that needs quite a bit of work in order to be worth the money for a tour. The monastery I found to be a little dangerous in that the steps and getting to the monastery were not well kept and I found it to be a hazard. I also think to improve all of the ports you should be able to shop for at least a half hour. It would help the economy in each port and it is an enjoyable and very entertaining activity.

We were in Athens for two days.. the first day we took a tour and it was very nice the second day we decided to be on our own and we really had no direction ..it was certainly not the ships fault it was our own... so I would recommend going through the tour office so that they can direct you properly .

Mykonos, Greece

Santorini, Greece

The most gorgeous island I have ever been to. We all absolutely loved Santorini!!

Naples, Italy

We took the tour to Capri... We were an hour and a half late going on the tour which really took away our shopping time on the island. The restaurant that we were taken to was not good food at all !! We were expecting delicious Italian food and we were given a piece of chicken that tasted like rubber and the pasta had no taste. I would highly recommend the ship going to a different restaurant because I heard many people say that the food was not good..
