No advice -- it's a pretty typical layout with restaurants at the aft, theater at the front. It's a fairly small ship, so there are only two elevator banks -- pick your cabin location accordingly.

Viking is good for those who want included excursions but for us it makes them a bit expensive considering drinks and tips not included. Make sure to use the spa.

If your pre-booked dinner reservations are later than you would prefer to dine, check in with the staff. Both nights that we had 8:30pm reservations, we arrived to find that there were empty tables and we likely could have dined earlier if we had asked.

Be a self entertaining type person. Lovely reading spots, thoughtful lectures, and scenery that is truly jaw dropping beautiful.

Dont bring so many clothes as its very easy to do your laundry. Also, dont bring wine on the ship, they give you so much with every meal and will top you off before you leave to go to a show.. Book air with viking, so if anything happens, they can help you out!

dress appropriately and FOLLOW THE RULES. SO many guests would not wear masks and talk back to staff who tried to make them comply; even ignoring 'don't sit here' signs ....I saw unbelievable behavior and would like Viking to try other strategies to deal with guest who refuse to follow the simple rules
