Review summary

It was a busy new-port-every-day cruise (with only one sea day). I saw many famous cities and sights, but chose not to go to Rome because it was a two-hour ride each way. The ship was great and the food fabulous, no surprise on Viking. The staff couldn’t have been better or more willing to do everything in their power to make your cruise the best possible experience for you.

The layout is comfortable, in a Scandinavian style, easy to learn your way around quickly.

Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin is large, light, well appointed and maintained. No stains, dirt, or wear visible anywhere, inside or outside on the veranda. The bath is large, good seal on the shower, fluffy towels, heated floor, and plenty of room for all toiletries.

Bring comfortable clothes — no dressy clothes are necessary.

I enjoyed the port city of Cioggia was even better than Venice, with a comfortable, non-touristy feel, easy to get around, and beautiful churches to explore.
