Very nice river cruise. The cities I visited were somewhat boring. I didn't appreciate the tardiness of certain rude passengers.

Fabulous Highlights on the Seine from Paris through Normandy by larkmcclure

The Viking River Cruises are exceptional because they have approximately 90 guests, making it a more intimate and personal experience. There is time to relax and enjoy the tranquility of gliding along some of the world's most famous rivers and viewing the local countryside at a much slower pace. When you can have a vacation experience and not have a thing to complain about, it is truly a wonderful experience.

Relaxing Seine River Cruise with visit to Normandy by Jerseycale

The Program Director was EXCELLENT...."George"....best we have had on a Viking Cruise. The ports of call briefs were made educational and enlightening. He had a wreath laying service at the cemetery at Normandy using our veteran passengers....very emotional.

It was new and very good.. But, 3 nights in Paris was too much - and 7 hours on the bus to see Normandy was too much.

Relax and enjoy yourself. Viking does it very well. I'd suggest not going in August as France is very crowded!
