Fabulous river cruise by spdckoch

Have been very pleased with the Viking experience, it's all about the destination. All tour guides are knowledgeable and provides lots of information. Food and restaurant staff are excellent! Enjoy the "smaller" feel of a river cruise.

This was our first river cruise although we have been on several ocean cruises before. We really enjoyed sailing on the Danube River as it was very peaceful and the scenery was beautiful. We loved all the staff as they were very personable and extremely friendly. They really made us feel special. Yes, we would do this again!

Don't need to purchase the alcohol package unless you plan to excessively drink. Wine and beer was served with meals. A bit disappointed in the flights that were set up for us as they had 2 stops. would have preferred more direct flight thought the transfers were worth it. it was seamless.

Don't expect to find any security on the boat, because it doesn't exist! The excursions are very informative, but after awhile don't be afraid to go on your own.
