Review summary
We have traveled on Regent for more than 15 years and have always been pleased, but with the RSS Explorer Regent has gone beyond our expectations. The ship only carries 750 passengers but feels much larger. The three specialty restaurants are large and provide a very diverse selection of food, from great steaks, to Asian and French. The design of the main dining room (Compass Rose) provides smaller areas to reduce the loudness of a large dining room. Art throughout the ship is beautiful and there are multiple places throughout the ship to have a quite drink and relax. Lastly, in our opinion, the staterooms are the biggest reason to sail on this ship. Large rooms with seating, decks that are so comfortable you might not get out of your room all day, and large bathrooms so that you are not runnig over each other. Can't wait for our next sailing on this vessel!!
