We have been on several Cruise lines, and we picked Royal Caribbean because we expected it to be a bit nicer than the less expensive cruises and it attracts an older crowd...not young partyiers etc...and the guests on this cruise were exactly that very polite, easy to cruise with...and mature. The ship was older, but we felt well maintained and updated, we are not interested in RC's HUGE ships with 5000 people We were taking our 3 married daughters and we wanted a special time...It was a dream for me as the Mom/ Grandma to have just our adult family for nice dinners, wonderful off site excursions, clean entertainment etc...and almost all our expectations were met....The ship is older

The serenade is a very nice ship. It is a smaller size than the mega-ships which makes it far easier to navigate and easier to find pool chairs.

This was our second time on the Serenade of the Seas and this cruise was just as good as the first. Upon arriving at the Pier access was easy and we were onboard within fifteen minutes. Luggage was delivered with in the hour while we had a snack . The entire crew was curtious and very efficient. I would rate Royal Carribbean as one of best, if not the best for the more mature traverler.

The Serenade of the Seas is new enough and well maintained enough that it still presents well. The staff are great, though clearly a little on edge-- it's clear that management browbeats them to get top ratings on the guest surveys, and I don't like seeing people so afraid for their jobs. The dining room selections need a bit of work.

Serenade of the seas was very clean and all the people we came in contact with were very helpful.

The Cruise is Great. Excelent dining, room acomodation, and entertaiment shows. We come back again as soon as posible.

Overall, the ship was very clean and beautiful. The service was outstanding but the entertainment wasn't as great as I expected. Expect to pay a lot for drinks.

This was our first cruise and We loved it, from the moment we stepped on the ship it was fabulous. The boat itself was perfect. Just the right size. The entertainment was great. Our state room was awesome bright, clean and always well maintained , The food was wonderful there was something for everyone. But overall the best thing about the trip was the employees and staff and overall customer service .An art that has been lost. From the waiters to our room attendant. remarkable !!!! We loved it so much we are already planning our next trip. Thanks for the great Vacation!!!!!!! :) 2 very impressed customers

The ship was about 7 years old but you could not tell. We spent time in many areas (dining rooms, lounge areas, coffee shop and pool area) and all of the them were very clean and updated. The balcony stateroom was spacious. We had been on a cruise before and that cruise ship paled into comparison to this one.

Overall impressed with the food and service. The comedian was also outstanding.

This ship is in need of some major refurbishing. Top of railings that are teak were missing with tape holding some sort of padding in place. In addition to the tape there was twine holding the padding in place. The track was in poor shape with large areas of running surface missing. These are but two examples of how poorly this ship is being maintained. The ship was generally clean where the staff was always cleaning. The chaise lounges looked like they haven't been cleaned in a very long time.

The ship was extremely clean and well kept. The staff were all excellent, very attentive. The food was five stars all the way. The varietyof food was vast and there was always a place to get something to eat regardless of the time. There were activities constantly so becoming bored was not a problem.

Would consider this an economy cruise, if the price is right this can be worthy vacation.

They ship itself and staff were lovely, no complaints. But smoking on board is allowed and of course people push that and smoke any where they want. It doesn't seem like the non-smoking areas is enforced and it is allowed to smoke on balconies. We had neighbors who smoke, so we had to inhale smoke. It even came into our cabin in the middle of the night when our door was closed.

The ship is nice enough and well maintained. The staff are all pleasant and made our trip very pleasant. The entertainment wasn't the best. We always go out of our way to make all the shows and we were disappointed many nights. It wasn't bad, just not great. The food was also mediocre. The food was boring and not well seasoned, particularly the fish. Thanksgiving dinner was beyond uninspiring and really made me wish we had stayed home. This is our 3rd Thanksgiving cruise and we never said that before! I would not take this cruise again.

Good time, just needs MUCH more organization meeting and finding excursions.

We had a wonderful time. The service was fantastic especial Faneli, our waiter.

For a slightly smaller ship than I am used to it was great! Loved most of the shows (you can't always please everyone) and the staff was fun and helpfull.

The ship presents a very graceful and beautiful appearance from the dock. Everything was kept in excellent condition and was impeccably clean.

Ship had most friendly and help people in resturant areas. Room service was prompt and custodial care was great. Customer service was not the best. Would have been good to get a weather update each day. You could not hear (in you oom) announcements being made to entire ship.
