It is well worth the $25 cover charge to dine at the Crown Grill. Joel was an a wonderful server, and was very helpful in recommending places to see on our upcoming trip to the Philippines.

The international cafe is a great place to meet and have a nice snack. The Gelato is great, treat yourself. My opionion is the three scoops is worth the $1.50.

The Trident Grill and the Pizzeria are not to be missed. Both are opened for lunch and dinner, It saves the hassle and crowds of going in to the Horizon Court.

Take advantage of the optional dining places to eat. The Crown Steak House was a teriffic place to dine. The food, the ambiance, and the servers were super.

Take a power strip! There is only 1 outlet in the cabin and if you need to recharge phone, tablet, laptop, etc you will want access to electricity!

Anytime dining was extremely complicated to utilize in dining rooms and reservations were hard to get yet it seemed that many parts of dining rooms sat empty.

I had NO desire to go on this cruise but my wife and family talked me into it. I figured I would just go along with the program and enjoy myself. In the end, I loved it and can't wait to go again. To me, 7 days was not enough! I feel like there was so much more on the cruise that we may have missed. With all of the activity on the ship, I found our at sea days to be just as fun as the port days.

I did the Ultimate Ship Tour. ($150/person). I think it’s worth doing at least once. Go to guest service desk right away on embarkation day to sign up. We got to go on the bridge which I thought wasn’t included. My favorite parts were seeing the machinery in the laundry area and the room with the mooring ropes and anchor chains. Afterwards you will get some free champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, a cooking apron, picture from the tour, and a bath robe.

Forward observation deck on level 15 is awesome for views when it is not too windy. Door is not marked, but unlocked.

Check there is no corinavirus on board as we were not told of positive cases until we were home. That meant we travelled 15000 miles, 25hrs flying time unaware that we could be infected. Shame on Princess and NSW Health Authorities for spoiling an otherwise fab cruise.
