Embarkation

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Buffet was not outstanding, but adequate. Nothing special. Main dining room was inconsistent - sometimes great and sometimes not so good. Service was excellent, however. Up-selling on the menu is annoying and not very classy. We did not eat in the specialty restaurants.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
We enjoyed many activities, especially the music in the lounges. The ship's version of The Voice was better than anticipated. Really enjoyed the ship's band. Fitness center was good.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The ship's band was outstanding, especially at their jazz performance. Great trumpet player! Singers and dancers were very talented as well. Dwight , in the lounge, was exceptional. Didn't really like the majic show. A.J., the comedian, was great too.

Children's Programs

No kids

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Service on the ship was very good all around. Bartenders were attentive. Room steward was excellent. Wait staff in the dining room was likewise very good. No complaints.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Very clean. No one getting ill.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Bed was very comfy. Missed not having a sofa. Gewneral layout a little different (not as good) as other cruises. Smaller balcony, but ok. Deck chairs not so comfy.

Ship tip

Forward observation deck on level 15 is awesome for views when it is not too windy. Door is not marked, but unlocked.

Our 2nd time here. Beautiful place. Whale watching is good some times of the year.

Unless you have a need to shop, go to the beach.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

We did the Eco-safari and it was tremendous.

Disembarkation

Very easy. Quick and efficient. We carried our own lugguage off the ship. (We pack light.)

Agree on that new trend, pay items in the MDR. 40 days until Hawaii.
