(Not specific to this ship) If sailing from San Francisco, a port side cabin with a balcony affords great views of "The City" as you glide toward the Golden Gate.

Be sure to stay close to the port and experience fisherman's warf. We stayed at holiday Inn express fisherman's warf.. very walkable to the warf.. about 2 blocks and you are at pier 39. Hotel was nice and the price was good for SF

When ordering anything using the television … be sure to keep selecting the order now button at the end of your selection…you should see a screen that shows the status of your order…otherwise nothing has been sent…we had to press it two or three times got it to submit …Aldo special items like towels, hangers , laundry etc…are under good ordering at the bottom marked”stateroom amenities”…not an intuitive process

We aren't lay by the pool folks so get the best stateroom you can. Since the weather was not great, reading in the room or the balcony (when dry) was comfortable. Room service was good. Captain has a very dry sense of humor.
