Great cruise! We even booked a southbound Alaska cruise same time next year.

Food and Dining
4 out of 5
We had anytime dining and dined almost every night in the Michelangelo dining room. The wait staff was very attentive and the food was delicious. The Horizon buffet was also very good, although much busier at peak times. The International Cafe was great for a quick dessert, pastry or coffee. The 24 hour room service was another story. You could not get through by phone. You would receive a message stating they were busy serving other guests. I believe my brother actually had the phone on speaker waiting for an attendant for over an hour. They stayed in a cabin next to ours. That was the only drawback to dining. If you want room service, you might be unhappy.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
There are so many things to do! The outside movie screen was being updated but they were still showing movies, however, it was a bit chilly and misty outside, so we skipped that. There were guest speakers, an art gallery, fitness center, spa, all very clean and staffed by very courteous attendants. The daily newsletter lists all the days activities and times and locations which makes it easy to plan your day for at sea times.
Entertainment

Outstanding group of performers in the Princess Theater, also liked the magician and jazz singer.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Our steward, Christopher, was outstanding. Our room was pristine each day and he was so polite and pleasant to speak with. The attendant who brought us coffee each morning, Mark, was also great. The staff on the ship was always smiling and courteous.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The ship was very clean, and we saw cleaning going on all throughout the cruise...wiping down handrails, walls, all public areas. We stayed on deck 10, midship, and were close to elevators and stairs. We never had a problem with noise, and the found the layout to be very efficient. The dining rooms are midship and there is an adult only sanctuary also.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
We stayed in C406. This cabin had a large balcony and was quite comfortable. The beds are comfy, bathroom size was as expected. It was clean and kept clean by the steward on a daily basis. There is ample closet space and drawers also.
Ship tip
Allow yourself some built in time to wait for elevators at peak dining time or leaving the ship. They have plenty of elevators, but when everyone is using them, you can end up waiting for one.
It did not take very long at all to disembark. We left our cabin just before 8 am and went to the assigned waiting area. We were scanned out right on time, located our luggage quickly, and we were to the airport about a hour later via the Princess bus transfer. They have a very efficient system for disembarking.
