Review summary
It only took us forty years to have a honeymoon, and this was a great way to do it! The ship was clean and the food great!. The only thing we found odd was no covered pool area. Cruises we've taken to the Caribbean offered a covered area that was really nice in inclement weather. We really thought going to Alaska there would be a covered area. Since there wasn't, it was too cold to use the pool or the hot tubs. This open area is where they showed movies too. Other ships we've experienced had an inside movie theatre. Again, it was too cold to sit outside and watch movies.
The walk for Susan G Komen was a joke! If you want a $15 hat or t-shirt, by all means do it. Otherwise, just make a donation when you get home. This is the third time we've done a walk like this on a cruise ship. Why have this event in an area where there is smoking? Duh!!!
Our shore excursions worked out well, but not because of Princess Cruise employees. We had to ask a million questions once we exited the ship to find the correct tour company and guide. The ship was not helpful in directing people at all.
Other than these few minor issues, a week with over 3,000 people went very well. We would definitely recommend this cruise to others.

Ship tip
Ask a lot of questions. No one is helpful in directing you to different things. Most people wander until they find it.
