Princess was a let down

Sail Date: October 07, 2011

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Room Type: Balcony

This was intended as a special cruise - the ship and service was a let down. we loved the itinerary but Princess - not so good.

Pros: Greek Islands

Cons: Princess food service

Recommends Ruby Princess? No.

Cabin / Stateroom
Service and Staff
Ship Quality
After 12 days on board it was still hard to find things...
Food and Dining
Just bad - We've cruised on Oceana, Carnival, Royal C....and they've all beat the food quality Princess offered....if you wanted to pay an additional $25 per person to eat in a different dining room the food and service was good...which we did twice to avoid the standard seating.
Entertainment
Katakolon (Olympia), Greece
Venice, Italy
Just crowded difficult to enjoy in just one day...I'd schedule at least two - three days if possible
Monte Carlo, Monaco
Piraeus (Athens), Greece
there was a city strike going on and all the museums were closed
Corfu, Greece
Split, Croatia
Naples, Italy
Mykonos, Greece
Livorno (Florence & Pisa), Italy
Santorini, Greece
But extremely crowded - hard to enjoy what the island had to offer but it was beautiful.
