Review summary

This was intended as a special cruise - the ship and service was a let down. we loved the itinerary but Princess - not so good.

Just bad - We've cruised on Oceana, Carnival, Royal C....and they've all beat the food quality Princess offered....if you wanted to pay an additional $25 per person to eat in a different dining room the food and service was good...which we did twice to avoid the standard seating.

The itinerary seems amazing, Greece is on my list of must sees. Other than the food, what made it so bad? Was the service bad? Ship Quality poor? Activities lacking?

Maybe, it was just the time of year that you cruised. Maybe your cruise ship was actually full. If this is your first time with Princess, it may be hard for some to sail with different cruise lines. No traveler has control over striking employees that they may encounter while travelling. Maybe when you travel to some of the same places another time you can see the stuff that you missed.
