This was our first cruise and we enjoyed it, weather always affects the trip and the weather on this trip wasn't the best.

Princess cruise line is my favorite we have done many cruise lines Princess is my 1st choice. The only complaint would be the internet service. When you are ready to check in with the airlines and print your boarding pass I feel that we should be allowed free internet time to do this. Maybe at least tokens to do one load of laundry with soap.

Great first cruise with Princess. We enjoy a relaxing cruise with a quieter crowd. Princess fits the bill. Comfy cabin, great food and service. Fun itinerary.

Perfect weather, friendly helpful staff and wonderful scenery.

We just left the Royal. We were in a premium suite with club class dining included. Being elite or suite class is a must if you want Sanctuary passes. We got priority embarkation. We first went to the spa and bought weekly Enclave passes and then went to get the Sanctuary passes. We could only get two days as the other sea days were sold out. Club class dining is not really worth it. It takes over 2.5 hours to get through dinner anyway and you miss shows. The extra dishes they promise are not wonderful. The upgrade dining in Sabatini’s is excellent. The Crown Grill is not worth paying for. The steak and sides are subpar. Alfredo’s is excellent. The Secret Silk show is pretty good. The shows in the Piazza are great. Our cabin steward was wonderful. I would sail this ship again but not in a suite. The perks are not worth the price. If you want a fabulous suite experience sail the Haven on NCL.

Having become accustomed to the high standards in customer service and kindness and warmth of previous Princess crews, in particular our superb experience on the Caribbean Princess, our welcome..or "not so welcome" to the Royal Princess was in stark contrast and a great disappointment. Accustomed to "Coming back new: and having formed strong bonds and lifetime friendships with staff and crew on our other Princess sailings, the coldness and detachment of the vast majority of staff and crew on the Royal Princess was deeply troubling to us and we did not come back entirely new...Instead we came back hoping that our future cruises that have already been booked with Princess will be as wonderful as the ones prior to this one. I expressed some of my concerns to the front desk and was told that they would happily cancel my upcoming cruises for me if I should opt to do so. We found this unacceptable, inappropriate and an insult to us and to Princess Cruises...We all deserve better! The Royal Princess is a beautiful lady but not a "Love" boat. Cold and austere, we felt her to be a distant cousin at best to her, perhaps, older and not quite as posh and smaller sisters who have a pulsating heartbeat and vibrancy that is tangible in every aspect of cruising. Also, having become accustomed to the signature Princess spirit of inclusiveness and tolerance, we were quite shocked at the laissez-faire attitude of the crew pertaining to mobility and accessibility.

This was a great cruise! I don’t understand why anyone would say that the staff is rude. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We did the ship tour and I would recommend it to anyone interested in the workings of a cruise ship!

1st ever cruise experience for my Wife and I and the Royal Princess did not disappoint. Great shopping and took advantage of many EOY sales held. Staff was very friendly and many events to suit all ages.

It was a lot of fun. Walking was great. We enjoyed buffet more than dining room. Formal nights were fun. Shopping was great. The chairs by pool were ALWAYS taken. The spa was always booked. But it was ok

I would like to started by saying I waited 9 months to write this and tried more cruise lines too. This is my 12th cruise and 1st on this line. We were really looking forward to the food options since I heard such wonderful things. But everything and everyone was just lack luster. Disaster started right after check in, were I received a call to come down to the port office due to something in my luggage. Once I finally made it back off the boat with another 30 or so other aimless customers in the same predicament. At the port, Customs and your Princess officials started in a heated argument in regards to who made the rules. We were dragged around to three different areas where the same altercation happened but in the end no one knew what to do, so let us all back on the boat. Over items they didn’t even know what they were…might I ad There was no WOW factors, I know I should have not had my hopes so high but geez you lost me at the no music. I know the cliental which you cater to is over 80 but good lord so boring!I mean the worst for a holiday cruise to Caribbean. Been on several, and I must say thee saddest New Years I've ever had. NO music by the pool, NOT one Caribbean song the entire time. It was a holiday!!! NO dancing, literally no fun. The design of the ship was awful, a lot of small closed rooms. Nothing open with a promenade or any of that, or not really anywhere or anything to do at night. Shopping minimally boring. There wasn't one real space on this boat for everyone to enjoy for any events, except the show room. You couldn't pay me to step back on a Princess Cruise Line before the age of 70 ever again, and I'm not exactly a spring chicken. My words are true don't spend the money. We were with a group of 20 ages 3 to 95, and my 95 Nana was bored. Just saying.......

Loved it and would and I will definitely cruise with Princess Cruise again. Didn’t want to leave!

We enjoyed this cruise so much! This was our first cruise and we can't wait to go on another. I would recommend Princess Cruiseline to everyone!!! Memories to last a lifetime.

Love exploring the Caribbean islands, so do my two teens! Days at sea aren’t as enjoyable with limited activities. This itinerary could be better without Princess Cays, maybe Nassau or St. John instead? The Royal Princess was by far the best Princess ship we’ve sailed (best of 4).

The Royal Princess is a beautiful ship,the staff was friendly. The food was amazing, have to say probably the best food amongst any cruiseline we've been on. The spa was ok, nothing to get excited about. The crowd is older, didn't have much entertainment. But it was a nice cruise.

So relaxing and enjoyable. First time cruising solo as my travel partner was stuck in a foreign country on a business venture. I did things I have wanted to do in the past, and tried some a couple new adventures. The Princess crew is a delight. A secret pleasure is watching old Love Boat episodes on-board. Only four were available on TV, but nice memories. Looking forward to my next adventure in March.

We had a Royal time on the Royal Caribbean (pun intended). We had a veranda cabin on the Aloha deck. The December weather was wonderful. We cruised the week prior to Christmas which was a good time to go as the ship was not at full capacity. We really enjoyed the variety and quality of food items available at the buffet. We spent a lot of time in the Horizon Terrace area as a quiet place for meals and reading. We will definitely cruise with Princess again.

Beautiful ship, awesome and friendly staff and crew. Food was good, just wish there was a little more to choose from in the MDR. Ship was clean, disimbarking for shore excursions went effortlessly, no jaming in the stairwells to get off the ship. This was our first time with Princess and will definitely be cruising again with them, had a great experience.

This was our first cruise on Princess but won't be the last. Every part of our cruise - from embarkation to dining to shopping on-board to the entertainment was top-notch! The spa was great, but I wouldn't pay for access to the "Enclave" thermal suite again. I found out that on the 2nd day they offered a $20/day rate after we paid $149 each! We only used it twice because the hot tub was way too hot and they never showed us the changing rooms/lockers/showers - we found out by snooping around and opening what we thought were just bathrooms. The adults only pool and jacuzzi area on the top deck would be where we would spend the money. That being said, we will definitely cruise with Princess again when we plan our Italy & Croatia cruise for next year.

I signed up 3:30 PM Friday 12/14/18 Posture&Pain Seminar, waited 30min.,person never showed up and staff said the person in charge is running late, and he will give me a call to set up 1:1session instead. Never called me nor left a message. Also, staff does not know that 4:00pm Spa Show Case & Raffle, and send me to hair Consultation instead... that gave me another bad experiance with the person doing hair consult. I learned that this is why NO ONE came to the 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM activities with Lotus Spa, I was the ONLY ONE waiting at that place. I really regreted that day before I deposited $100.00 for the next cruise.

Had the best cruise ever last week. Seventh Princess cruise and this time we tried Club Class Mini Suite. Great experience. Priority embark and disembark plus lots of other perks. Nice for a change. New Princess luxury beds were awesome. Best excursion was in Cozumel through Resort for a Day at the Occidental Grand Hotel. Breathtaking grounds and beautiful uncrowded beach. Will definitely go again.
