Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Cannot say enough good things about the food. Such variety. Excellent quality. The specialty dining was memorable. Service everywhere was exceptional. Even though we are not 'buffet people' we loved dining at the buffets! Thoroughly enjoyed the themes (especially the German night choices). Pastries and desserts were fantastic.

Sabatini's

5 out of 5

Probably our favorite meal even though we enjoyed them all. Food was superb. Our server was so enthusiastic, too. Wish I could go back again tonight!

The Pastry Shop

OMG.... so good... so pretty... and all made on the ship. Breakfast croissants, Danish.... soooooo good! Everything looks and tastes wonderful..... I know because I probably tastes them all.

Alfredo's Pizzeria

5 out of 5

So good. Pizzas were excellent, as was the calzone we had at lunch. Went back another evening for dinner and was very pleased again with appetizers, main courses ans well as desserts.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Mainly the educational presentations, entertainment at night.... gym was used, too.

Princess Live

5 out of 5

Lots of fun. Entertainment staff did a great job with the variety of shows .... lots of laughs.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Lots of good laughs at 'Princess Live' shows. Great entertainment staff. Wish the theater was larger as we could not get into a few shows because all seats were taken.

Princess Theater

4 out of 5

Enjoyed the educational presentations greatly. The one musical production we saw was enjoyable, but did not knock my socks off. The comedian was excellent, but the theater gets filled so fast we could not go back for his second show later in the week which disappointed us. Wish it was a bit larger so more guests would not be disappointed as we were.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All so pleasant. Our room was lovely and it was so lovely to return to have chocolates on our pillows and ready to hop into the very comfy bed (including the sleeper sofa!) after a wonderful day or being at sea or enjoying an excursion while in port. Not to mention how your coffee cup was never empty and staff in the restaurants were all so pleasant.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Very clean. Lovely.....

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
All wonderful. We were amazed at the amount of storage available. LOVED being able to view the scenic views just by opening our sliding glass doors. Manuel was wonderful. By the time we came back from the morning breakfast buffet our room was pristine. Turn down at night was a great, too.

Ship tip

Being first time cruisers we were not sure how to pack. It was lovely to see people really DO dress up for the formal nights although casual but nice was also perfectly acceptable.

Ketchikan, Alaska

Nice area where ship docks. We did not do an excursion because a friend lives there and gave us a personalized 'taste of Ketchikan tour' !

Disembarkation

Painless. Again, very well organized.

Excellent review. We will be in the cabin next door on July 20. Glad you enjoyed your first cruise. Princess is great. Will definitely try Alfredo’s. We also have The Sled Dog and Musher’s Camp excursion.
