Review summary

This cruise was a total delight. The ports of call were the primary reason we selected this particular cruise line and the Ancient Vignettes itinerary and we were not disappointed in any way. Oceania knows how to take care of its passengers in a first class manner. Everything went like clockwork as far the planning and execution of excursions. It would have been nice if some of the excursions were started later in the day, but we realize that to a large extent, the timing is dictated by the port and scheduled departures to the next port. The food is excellent and the crew is totally customer oriented. Bravo Oceania!

Malta, itself, exceeded our expectations as a destination. The only constructive criticism I would offer is that our tour guide for our excursion could have taken better control of the group, making sure that everyone was within range so that we could hear his description of what we were seeing. He was using an audio system that should have allowed this, but he marched ahead too quickly and lost contact with the main body of the group.

My mom and I did the Venice to Barcelona on her. Oh my. The food. Fantastic. Loved that ship The staff was great. Loved everything about it.

Fabulous Mediterranean Cruise
Great food. Great service. Love the penthouse suite & Butler. But entertainment is below average. Nothing much to entertain you, unless you like a very quiet and peace.
