Wonderful Med Cruise by Dazzamckay

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Rhapsody of the Seas / Destination: Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

At first we weren’t sure about this ship as never been on a small ship before. We actually really enjoyed it. The staff were nice and the ship is looked after and very clean. Not all the fancy gadgets like the larger ships but still plenty to do.

Our First Cruise by markchepler57

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Rhapsody of the Seas

Our first cruise turned out to be awesome! We knew after this cruise t j.g at we would definitely cruise again. There is no way my pictures did justice to the natural beauty of Alaska; you just have to experience it for yourself. This is still my favorite cruise.

Most Enjoyable Cruise by eamonnmc

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Rhapsody of the Seas

Had a really enjoyable Cruise on a ship that was the opposite to Symphony of the Seas that we were on last year. The smaller older ships I feel are more for adults than for children. Loved every minute of it.

What an Experience! by 3kids3kats

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Rhapsody of the Seas / Destination: Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

Interesting ports of call (although excursions started way earlier than I had expected (6:45 was not unusual!)), fabulous staff and entertainment. If you go during the summer, expect temperatures in the high 90's so take plenty of water, and maybe a water bottle strap, and have a few Euro coins with you as the public restrooms charge. I wished I had done my own exploring in Olympia rather than the excursion. The guide had to rush through some parts to stay on the schedule that I wanted to see more, and spent time in other parts that I didn't find interesting. The excursion in Kotor took us through a series of 25 switchbacks that made me nauseous, so again, I wished I had explored on my own. The activities staff had a good number of activities but not all were well attended, not sure why. The entertainment was top notch! I would recommend this cruise itinerary!

Fun Cruise by phillyyoursilly

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Rhapsody of the Seas

Overall a fun cruise. The only thing we didn’t like was the back to back days at sea to end the cruise. It would have been nice to have the sea days split up or possibly one more port considering your passing multiple possible ports after leaving St Kitts heading back to Miami. The staff were all wonderful and the ship was very clean with great service.

My wonderful Great Barrier Reef cruise by hungtngo

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Rhapsody of the Seas / Destination: South Pacific - Australia

This is my third time visiting Australia, only this one aboard the Rhapsody of the Seas to Cairns.  I'm now back home to the US but memories in Cairns, Brisbane, Gold Coast tour will probably never be forgotten.

It's sad to know the Rhapsody will depart for good Australian Water.  We have a lot of fun on this ship in Deck 4&5 Centrum, Deck 6 Shopping Center and Deck 9 Park Café and Forward All You Can Eat Restaurant.  I should mention here my time working out in the Fitness Center back Aft including wonderful experience in the sauna room.  Food in the Dining Room is OK but thanks to the great services of two waiters (names I already forget) at table #232 our group of 11 persons (Vietnamese Navy Veterans & spouses) had a wonderful time aboard ship after our reunion in Sydney.

We look forward to be on the future Royal Caribbean cruise!

Rhapsody is a bombastic name for this ship. by Medic9701

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Rhapsody of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

The term rhapsody is typically associated with the creation of positive emotion. Our time on board Rhapsody of the Seas failed to produce that, but the cruise did provide us with unforgettable memories due to the incredible itinerary. The capability of this smaller ship makes it a viable option for otherwise inaccessible interesting ports.

Amazing Greek Isle Med Cruise by amyefowler

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Rhapsody of the Seas / Destination: Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

Overall we had a wonderful cruise despite the room issues. We thought that the cruise line should have let the customers know in advance of the issues with these cabins before they were booked. When you book a junior suite you are expecting more of a luxury experience.

Loved it. First time for my husband who was reluctant by fordy05

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Rhapsody of the Seas

Loved the whole experience. This was my husbands first cruise and my 3rd. He was a reluctant cruiser so we choose this Greece-Croatia Mediterranean cruise as it had many port stops and was only 7 nights. Turns out he loved it. We chose a balcony cabin 7024 which gave us many opportunities to view the beautiful ports as we came and left. Breakfast became a must on our balcony as we soon found we did not enjoy Windjammers selections for breakfast, lunch or dinner. In saying that we used Windjammers for snacking-taking fresh fruit, cereal, milk, yoghurt and cheese back to the room. We tried izumis-Japanese-nice, Chops-good steaks and Giovannis-italian all were quite tasty but not first class. The main dining room for main meals were as good as the specialty restaurants no complaints here. The service staff on the whole ship are really marvellous, diligent, attentive and do know how to make you feel special. From our young assitant waiter Dmitrii to Oscar-our cabin steward attendant and Rowena and Joah our drink waiters in the Schooner bar we could not fault their service. We did enjoy The Schooner Bar and particularly liked the Pianist/singer in the late evenings. Entertainment onboard was a bit hit and miss-one show we walked out of because the female lead was so out of key we couldn't watch-whether or not that was sound or ear piece issues we were unsure-but many people were talking about it the next day. However there were many other options around the ship to enjoy oneself, particularly at sea days. The ship itself could definitely do with a revamp, outdated furnishings etc...but it was clean and comfortable. The ports- *Dubrovnik-cool-we hired a scooter on our own from Modena scooter hire and it proved to be a very fun day. *Kotor-Montenegro-boring,but the day we went was raining and had lots of cloud coverage-we went on the Grand Montenegro Day excursion booked through the cruise I do not recommend it. The ear pieces were poor and it was boring and long. The highlight was lunch because we far good company at our table. *Santorini-big let down because of thousand of tourists. we did the Oia Village tour which encompassed a winery tasting at Santo Wine Winery which was the worse wine I have ever tasted.I do not recommend this tour. Oia itself is stunning but you do not get to enjoy any of it because of the crowds. *Katakalon- Loved it- this place is bliss- don’t go to Olympia get off at port, cruise he shops, buy some beautiful jewellery at Christos (family run and quality guaranteed and backed by the cruise ship) . You can negotiate a lower price with them. You will be treated like royalty. Lunch at Porto’s by the sea.... great Greek hospitality, reasonably priced, beautiful food, great atmosphere. Then hop on the dipping train at the end of the street for 6 euros and enjoy the town. *Venice-Loved it Verdict we like cruising, and will definitely do it again

Fantastic Voyage by Shezadiva

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Rhapsody of the Seas

Enjoyed that this wasn’t a party cruise or floating amusement park. Very laid back ship, perfect for relaxation. Food is a highlight here. Beds suck, so either book a massage or get one in port. I’d definitely choose this ship again.

Excellent Time by Solar0685

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Rhapsody of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

The four of us had an excellent time. Eddy and Mahen from the Schooner bar, Anton our Stateroom attendant, Navin our dining room server, Gemma, Michael and Diego from the cruise directors staff made the trip unforgettable.
