Cruise was amazing, and I would do it all again! The service was wonderful, and it was the most relaxing and romantic time I couldn’t have even dreamed of!

The main dining room was okay. I love that when we asked for a table for two, they accommodated us on the first night. We had a perfect window seat at the back of the dining room. The waiter was nice enough. The waiters assistant was very nice, and enjoyed seeing her at the buffet for breakfast as well. We had breakfast one day in the main dining, and it was not impressive. I expected the food to be warm, but the toast and eggs came out cold. The experience was neat, and we made new friends, but we didn’t go back to the main dining for breakfast. The buffet breakfast was okay. The make your own omelet was good, and they had this strawberry parfait that was amazing. I enjoyed having access to hot milk for my coffee, and it made my morning cup very enjoyable. For lunch, the main dining room was wonderful. They had a delicious pasta station, and the best steak sandwich. That steak sandwich was the best thing I ate from the main dining room for any meal. We only had the buffet for lunch one day, and it was pretty good. They had some nice little pre-made sandwiches and the food overall was pretty good. As far as the specialty dining goes, I would say don’t waste your money. Izumi was the worst sushi I’ve ever had. Izumi has this hot rock cooking, and the steak was amazing, but everything else was not good. Chips grill was okay. I ordered a medium rare steak and got a well done steak. We went to chips grille for lunch, and I don’t know if supper would have been any better. The view was neat, but the food was not overly impressive. My husband enjoyed Giovanni’s, but I wasn’t overly impressed. The food was best here of anywhere, but definitely not worth the money. We had a roast beef sandwich from the cafe in the solarium, and it was okay. The bread was stale (and this was the first meal of our trip), but the roast beef and the sauce they offer was pretty good. The service there on the first day was the worst we encountered. But the service in every other dining venue was pretty good!

We only went to two shows at night in the theatre, but we enjoyed them. We really enjoyed the different bands and musicians that played in the atrium. It was such a nice, intimate place to listen to some live music. It was our favorite place to be “entertained.”

Everyone who worked on our ship was outstanding. So nice, so friendly, and seem to really go out of their way to make your vacation a pleasant one. I loved meeting so many people with such a good work ethic, and who seem to genuinely enjoy their jobs! It was such a breath of fresh air!

The ship layout was wonderful! I absolutely love that it was t gigantic, and that we got to know and see new people often. I loved deck 5, and how you can walk around the ship. It’s a very intimate deck, and a beautiful place. Everything seemed to be very well maintained in the public areas. It seemed that someone was always cleaning rails, windows, everything. They were constantly painting and maintaining the ship. The common areas looked like a new ship to me. Everything was perfect.

The room was okay. The first thing I noticed was that there was a giant hole in the bed skirt clearly visible to everyone. The bed skirt seemed outdated and used. The beds were very hard. The pillows were nice. The window outside was very dirty and hard to see out. The bathroom was sufficient, and had plenty of space to store things. The water pressure was amazing! I enjoyed the lighting in the vanity of the bedroom, it was wonderful. The chair for the vanity was very rickety, and needs to be replaced. The room was okay, but next time I will save some money and get an inside cabin.
Ship tip
This was an absolute wonderful cruise for relaxing. There is entertainment if you want something to do, but there’s also so many places you can go to get some peace and quiet and relax. The service was outstanding, and the only thing that could have made this trip any better would have been better food overall. If I could do it again, all on the same ship, I would book it in a heartbeat. It was wonderful. I loved that we weren’t bombarded with people trying to sell us alcohol, and we didn’t encounter obnoxious drunk people. There were minimal kids, and just enough to keep it interesting. Royal caribbean is great, and I would reccomend them to all my friends!
