Review summary

From start to finish this was a fantastic cruise. We are counting down until our next!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
We arrived at port just after time given on our cruise documents and went dropped baggage off without any wait or line. Heading upstairs we were greeted by Royal Caribbean staff who directed us to the correct line. We only had to wait about 10 minutes before being served and the woman on check in was outstanding.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
For dinner we mostly ate in the MDR. We loved the themed choices each night and knowing there were some standard options everyday. The few times we ate in Windjammer there was never a wait to get food but it could be hard to find a table for a large group if you didn't go early. Park Cafe was perfect for a salad or snack between meals. The cookies were especially delicious.

Giovanni's Table

5 out of 5

The family style portions were great so we could try many different dishes. Again we ate so much we didn't have room for the delicious looking desserts

Chop's Grille

5 out of 5

Delicious steak and the sides were outstanding.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
We spent most of the time relaxing by the pool or in the solarium but for those who want to be more involved there are lots of activities to participate in.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
The evening shows in the theatre were entertaining, however a little amateur.

Children's Programs

We didn't travel with children.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone went above and beyond.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The areas were always clean but with the age of the ship there are sign of wear and tear.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Clean, comfortable and had everything we needed.

Ports of call

Venice, Italy

4 out of 5
We spent a few days here before and after the cruise to explore. It's a great idea just to wander around and explore at your own pace. There were a few things on our bucket list we checked off like a gondola ride and taking selfies with the birds in Piazza San Marco

Dubrovnik, Croatia

4 out of 5
Small but a great old city to explore. Get off the main walking street as quick as possible to you can really enjoy seeing the town. We did a short tour and then had time on our own. Make sure you try the local ice-cream.

Kotor, Montenegro

5 out of 5
A more relaxed city. We spent most of the morning climbing up to the old fort and then wandering around the old town.

Santorini, Greece

5 out of 5
Extremely busy and touristy but definitely worth visiting. Try finding a local restaurant and enjoy the views.

Katakolon (Olympia), Greece

3 out of 5
If you don't go to Olympia there isn't much here to see and do. After a quick walk around and some souvenir shopping we went back to the ship to relax by the pool.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Disembarkation was reasonably quick, however there was a slight delay as a passenger had lost a cell phone and they kept everyone waiting while the staff searched for it in the common areas.
