Review summary

At first we weren’t sure about this ship as never been on a small ship before. We actually really enjoyed it. The staff were nice and the ship is looked after and very clean. Not all the fancy gadgets like the larger ships but still plenty to do.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Quickest we’ve ever been checked in and onboard.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
As always the food was lovely. First time we’ve been to Izumi and we loved it.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
There’s not as much to do on this smaller ship but what is there was great. The climbing wall was great as was the pool areas and jacuzzis. The fitness centre was small and a bit dated but had what we needed.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The only show we watched in the theatre was the magic show which was amazing. The Greek music group was spectacular as were the English group that played in the Centrum.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our room steward Percival was really nice. Nothing was too much trouble. All the stuff we’re lovely and a lady Jessie in the Latte tudes coffee ship was especially nice.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship is an older ship now and our first time on a smaller ship. It is a bit dated in places but very very clean. The staff do a great job looking after it.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The cabin was really nice and very spacious. The cabin attendant looked after it really well.

Ship tip

Book your main dinning room times. Also in Kotor you need a tender ticket. Get in line early to be able to get off the ship first if you have something planned.

Ports of call

Venice, Italy

Loved it here. Lots to see and do. Amazing place. Very busy tho.

Kotor, Montenegro

Our favourite port stop. Absolutely stunning.

Corfu, Greece

5 out of 5
Beautiful old town.

Piraeus (Athens), Greece

2 out of 5
Piraeus isn’t great tbh. And the ship docked about a 45 min walk from the metro station. Weve been to Athens before so didn’t do a great deal.

Mykonos, Greece

2 out of 5
Love this port. Also a tender but no ticket required here. Loved walking round the small streets.

Argostoli, Kefalonia, Greece

5 out of 5
Another favourite port. We got off the ship early and went straight to the old port were a couple of fishing boats were in. We’d heard loggerhead turtles come to meet the fishing boats and we weren’t disappointed. Breathtaking seeing them.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
We were off the ship and collected bags in no time at all. No queues.
