Overall it was a great experience. The cruise allows you to see a lot of Europe and explore what you might want to go back to. We love the cruise experience b/c it also allows one place to unpack rather than living out of a suitcase for the week.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Easy - right to the front of the line. Only difficulty was finding how to physically get to the ship.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
The main dining room is always great and our waiter and assistant were always on top of everything. We went to Chops Grille one night and it was right up there with a top caliber steakhouse experience. Their wine selection (bottles) was great and the prices were extremely reasonable! We also did the Chef's Table which is a must experience! Nothing like what you can get at home. 6 courses paired with great wines and the chef comes out to explain each course. I'm never much of a fan of the buffet but it was actually pretty decent this time. Looked like they served a lot of the left over high quality ingredients from the other dining rooms.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Fitness center could use some updating and I would love if it was larger. The hot tub's jets in the solarium never worked. Casinos could also use some updating with more current slot games like you can find in a modern casino.
Entertainment
2 out of 5
Overall this was the biggest disappointment. Usually the ships entertainment is top of the line. With this particular cruise I felt like the evening shows were very sub par. The Love & Marriage Game show is usually a high light of each cruise and it was over in nearly 20 mins. The cruise director blew through it all and just didn't seem to want to do it...The musicians in the bars were great however.
Service and Staff

Everyone was great as always. Very helpful whenever needed
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
It's a small ship but overall well done. Everything was always very clean!
Cabin / Stateroom

Nothing fancy but what we expected. Could use a little updating in the design
Ship tip
Be courteous to any passengers you run into. Its a relatively small ship so you'll see them again :) Take care of your bartenders!
We stayed 1 night ahead of the cruise. It was a great city and very clean. We felt very safe wandering around on our own. Food and wine was a highlight there!
Very cool city. We wandered on our own and enjoyed the food and wine in the city square. We did the hike which you can do for $3 (euros) - it's a must as the view is spectacular! Easy to access the entrance from the main square.
We did the Game of Thrones excursion through the ship and it was fantastic! They would show still shots from all the scenes when we were in different part of the city to show where scenes were filmed. Very clean and neat city. Food and wine was again great and for a great price.
Booked an excursion to Capri and Pompeii and it was great. Capri is an easy city to do own your own if I had to do it again. I wished we had more time in Pompeii and got to try a pizza in Naples.
Its great to see all the historic sites but its very far from the port. I don't know that I would want to go back to Rome as a cruise port. It was still very busy even at the end of tourist season.
We went to Tuscany on a wine tour - the area was beautiful and fun to learn the history. I was a little disappointed with the amount of wine they let us try and the lack of time at the winery after the tasting. It felt very rushed after our group finished the tasting and I think I would've preferred to book something on my own next time.
We stayed an extra night and had a fabulous dinner at a Tapas restaurant that was recommended via TripAdivsor. It was probably the best meal of the trip (and that's saying a lot!). We also stumbled on a great park with a very large fountain and beautiful greens and buildings throughout. Wish we had more time to explore the city.
