Everything was wonderful
Everything was wonderful
If you're traveling with a small group, as we did, it's wise to make arrangements for dining preferences in advance. We opted for anytime dining, but the maitre d' accommodated our request for a specific table at a specific time every night.
expect long lines and crowds in the horizon court.
Tours are to crowded and too far from Port.
Late dining was too late to see any show. We wanted early dining and none available
Anytime dining was very easy and the staff is wonderful. Our gluten free requests were honored gladly. Abel, our Assistant maître d' in Allegro, was spectacular!!
Check the layout to get to the dining venues before you need to be there or you will be late.
Best place to be is near the front or back elevator. There are no midship stairs so you have to use an elevator even to go up or down 1 floor to your cabin.
Restaurants could have been planned better. It can be a maze to get to some of these. You have to go up one floor walk to the back then go down one floor. Layout could have been done just a bit better.
This ship is one you will want to venture on ! For me, Princess has always been the love boat, whether you are married or single ! It continues to feel this way !
For anyone visiting St. Maarten for the first time, be prepared for a bit of a walk to catch a water taxi into town. It's easy walking but a longer distance than at most docks.
Be sure you learn the layout of the ship...it's big, and it's easy to get turned around.
The balcony was wonderful. Smoking cigars only in Churchill's (inside) and not being able to smoke where others do isn't fair.
Small crowded elevators. Plenty of deck chairs.
level 8 was a horrible experience.
a horrible trip......lousy acomodation....and a mob outside evry door
If you are traveling with babies or young children, bring a folding wagon. It was a lifesaver. Also bring a little inflatable pool for the kids who can't go in the other pools.
The steakhouse was fair.
This ship was missing the Skywalker Bar at the top and back of the ship which we have enjoyed on other Princess cruises as we sail away from a port. This ship also does not have the promenade deck where you can walk outside for the entire perimeter of the ship.
elevators were slow and always full. balconies were narrow,
