Review summary

A must do cruise! If you can, book the return Southbound to Vancouver. I spoke to others that were doing this and if I have another opportunity to do this, I would. This was an amazing experience and Alaska is so huge you only see a tip of it in 7 days.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Room attendant is excellent, waiters excellent, customer care desk addressing all my concerns, coffee bar attendant addressing my first name each time, her name was Stephanie, in windjammer all attendants on target with cleansing tables and addressing you respectfully. excursion desk attendants were knowledgeable, activities such as trivia very enjoyable

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
It was easy to navigate and on all decks shown were up to date itineraries, time date, port, and maps were easily displayed on each level by the elevators. As far as I am concerned the ship was kept clean and litter free

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
It was just right! Especially the vanity set up and drawers, closets and hangers were just enough to store my belongings. The bed was very comfortable, bathroom shower and temperature of the water were good. My cabin attendant was mindful and made sure to meet me in person for any concerns.

Ship tip

Take the stairs if you can, not only good for exercise, but the elevators are not expedient for so many people.

Ports of call

Cruise Inside Passage, Alaska

The entire cruise was so scenic

Juneau, Alaska

5 out of 5
I enjoyed the excursion of Mendenhall Glacier and gardens. I was disappointed to be so far from the glacier at it was not any where close to what I expected.

Icy Strait Point (Hoonah), Alaska

5 out of 5
This was my favorite one. I took the gondola ride up the mountain side and enjoyed the museum and shops

Sitka, Alaska

5 out of 5
It was lush and beautiful. I took the excursion to the raptor center and Sitka National Park and enjoyed it very much

Skagway, Alaska Did not visit port

This port was changed to Haines, Alaska, It was a little disappointing, the weather did not hold up to explore this port and there was really nothing to do for many people but to take a long walk in the rain

Cruise Hubbard Glacier

5 out of 5
The ships captain and others made sure passengers were able to see this wondrous glacier to the best of their ability. This was not a land excursion.

Seward (Anchorage), Alaska

5 out of 5
From start to finish, the disembarkation was very organized, stress free and boarding the bus 2.5 hours to Anchorage for the Hospitality center in order to catch later flights. I felt safe and all questions were answered by very helpful and friendly personnel. I did not see Seward but the ride to Anchorage was beautiful.

Disembarkation
