Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The MDR food was excellent. Buffet was good. Only gave 4 stars because breakfast in the buffet had the same food every day.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
There were always different events going on that kept us busy.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Shows in the theater we're outstanding.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Who ever we reacted with was outstanding. Especially our cabin attendant and the wait staff in the MDR.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ship is a bit old but more intimate. No complaints. Will sail on her again.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Ocean view with great views while underway.

Ship tip

Give this old girl a chance. Be prepared for an older ship. It's kept clean though.

Ports of call

Vancouver (Canada Place), British Columbia

5 out of 5
There are a lot of things to do and see in Vancouver if you have a few days before or after your cruise.

Icy Strait Point (Hoonah), Alaska

5 out of 5
The new Gondola ride to the zip rider is crazy fun . The zip rider is by far the best excursion (IMO)

Juneau, Alaska

5 out of 5
Great little city with lots of sight seeing opportunities. The Gondola ride is great. Lots of trails at the top of you're prone to hiking.

Skagway, Alaska

5 out of 5
Took the White Pass train excursion. Very picturesque with a lot of history about the Alaskan railroad.

Cruise Hubbard Glacier

5 out of 5
Took the excursion on boat up to within 1/2 mile of the glacier. What a day. Got to see the glacier calve at least 10 times.

Seward (Anchorage), Alaska

5 out of 5
Just took the bus to Anchorage but came back for 5 days and Seward is a must see if you have time before or after your cruise.

Sitka, Alaska

5 out of 5
First time to Sitka. A very small town you can walk in about 20 mins. Quite a few shops and good food.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Very smooth disembarkation in Seward. Took all of 10 mins and most of that time was lugging our luggage through the ship. Received help at the gangway which was much appreciated.
