Explore the entire ship on the first day or two so you won’t miss any of the amenities, such as viewing the officers operations in the bridge, the indoor pool and whirlpool, the observation deck, exercise center, etc.

Well worth the extra money to upgrade to the “Grills” I would never fly business class as do not see the value, but I will only cruise Grills with Cunard

The QE2 is definitely a Luxury Ocean Liner. If you want casual, this is not the ship for you. There are formal nights every night of the crossings and semi-formal the rest of the cruise.

Don't spend a penny on extras, because all the meals and activities included are great. The only charge you will need is for internet, which you should skip because you are on vacation, and drinks, which are very reasonably priced. Ask for a table for six or eight for dinner, to meet interesting travelers.
