This was our third Cruise on Cunard, and again it was fantasic.
Before disembarkation we booked our next cruise with Cunard on Queen Victoria for 19 nights
Heads up if you book while you are still onboard you get bonus OBC for the cruise your booking.

Princess Grill Restaurant

The three waiters, drink steward, and host made you feel very welcome and nothing was to much trouble and no way they are going to allow you to leave even feeling slightly hungry
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Had a massage felt very relaxed afterwards, the only thing unlinke Queen Victoria & Elizabeth they do no not have a free sauna
Mayfair Shops
3 out of 5
Poorly stocked of sizes, most items I wanted were not available in my size, and new stock was not available till Singapore. I was doing Sydney to Sydney to NZ so this was not helpful.
Sports Centre

The Eagles show was fantasic, others were miss and hit
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
The service on the QM2 in the marjority is superb, with the exception of one waiter during High Tea in the Grills Lounge and one Sale person in the Mayfair Shop who just walked away from me and did not offer any help
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
I prefer the design of the Queen Victoria & Elizabeth, found it strange the ship is divided in two because of Brittiania Restaurant.
Cabin / Stateroom

We had a Princess P1 and were very happy with our room
Ship tip
Well worth the extra money to upgrade to the “Grills”
I would never fly business class as do not see the value, but I will only cruise Grills with Cunard
I did not go ashore as have been to Akaroa before. This is a tender port. But just sitting on deck looking at the view is a fantasic way to spend a day.
Smooth disembarkation, my two things I did not like was we were due to be in the disembarkation point at 7.50am. Not only did this not give us a relaxing start to eat breakfast as they open at 7am, the steward came to advise we need to vacate the room at 720am, we simply said we will be gone by 750am
