Review summary

Even with autumn weather and active seas, the trip was smooth and relaxing. We met many interesting people, and everyone was friendly. The ship, the food, and the entire experience was great. We have already booked our next voyage.

Very fast, although not as fast for everyone. As experienced Cunard passengers, we had a shortly line.

The main dining room is beautiful, and the service is first class as an elegant restaurant. Buffet has a wide variety.

Onboard Activities

The best activity is doing nothing but sitting an watching the ocean. But there is also dancing every night - the disco band is better than ballroom dancing, but the ballroom is a nicer venue.

Entertainment

We did not attend any of the shows, but enjoyed the classical musicians that play throughout the ship.

We did not bring children, and there are very very few on board.

The ships has tons of public spaces for activities or sitting and reading or chatting. The ship is a beautiful ocean liner, and does not look or feel like one of the large container-passenger ships.

Cabin / Stateroom

Good, but set up for handicapped passengers, which we are not, so some room was sacrificed for access.

Ship tip

Don't spend a penny on extras, because all the meals and activities included are great. The only charge you will need is for internet, which you should skip because you are on vacation, and drinks, which are very reasonably priced. Ask for a table for six or eight for dinner, to meet interesting travelers.
