Review summary

Everyone should experience the Queen at least once. The crew really offer outstanding service and being pampered was very appreciated. I've not seen a ship so clean from stem to stern. And the ship has a real promenade deck, allowing you to stroll the deck 360 degrees, with old fashion deck chairs to chill and just relax. We were so busy doing nothing, we didn't know where the week went.

Embarkation

Crowded, but as a Queen Suites guest, they had priority boarding and it was a breeze.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Queens Grille was outstanding. . . from service to food . . . All meals all 7 days.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We "lucked" into being on the voyage with Britain's National Symphony Orchestra with conductor Anthony Inglis. What a treat. He was simply amazing. The ability to have that much talent and be so down to earth and well-connected with the audience. He also hosted a ship choir and there were more than 200 that joined. Both performances were outstanding.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Overall entertainment was very good. The planetarium movie was a bit lame, but the experience was nice.

Thanks for your post lm4rays. I have wanted to do this and have wondered about convincing my spouse. This is great to hear.

Now THAT'S cruising the way cruising was meant to be. Gliding across the waters on a true ocean liner. Someday, I hope to experience the feel of the QM2, or perhaps Cunards newest ship just ordered.
